Ebusiness Manager

eBusiness managers create and execute a company's electronic strategy plan for selling products and services online. They also improve data integrity, placement of online tools and brand exposure and monitor sales for companies that market products to customers using the internet. They collaborate with the marketing and sales management team using ICT tools to reach sales goals and provide accurate information and offerings to business partners.

Core workflow

  1. Upload digital media, such as photos, video, or scanned images to online storefront, auction sites, or other shopping Web sites.
  2. Order or purchase merchandise to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  3. Maintain inventory of shipping supplies, such as boxes, labels, tape, bubble wrap, loose packing materials, or tape guns.
  4. Determine and set product prices.
  5. Disclose merchant information and terms and policies of transactions in online or offline materials.
  6. Deliver e-mail confirmation of completed transactions and shipment.
  7. Create, manage, or automate orders or invoices, using order management or invoicing software.
  8. Create or maintain database of customer accounts.
