Curriculum Administrator

Curriculum administrators develop and improve the curricula of education institutions. They analyse the quality of existing curricula and work towards improvement. They communicate with education professionals to ensure an accurate analysis. They report on curriculum developments and perform administrative duties.

Core workflow

  1. Advise students on issues such as course selection, progress toward graduation, and career decisions.
  2. Direct, coordinate, and evaluate the activities of personnel, including support staff engaged in administering academic institutions, departments, or alumni organizations.
  3. Formulate strategic plans for the institution.
  4. Promote the university by participating in community, state, and national events or meetings, and by developing partnerships with industry and secondary education institutions.
  5. Design or use assessments to monitor student learning outcomes.
  6. Prepare reports on academic or institutional data.
  7. Recruit, hire, train, and terminate departmental personnel.
  8. Plan, administer, and control budgets, maintain financial records, and produce financial reports.
