# Accommodation Manager
Accommodation managers are in charge of managing the operations and overseeing the strategy for a hospitality establishment. They manage human resources, finances, marketing and operations through activities such as supervising the staff, keeping financial records and organising activities.
## Core workflow
1. Greet and register guests.
2. Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services, and resolve occupants' complaints.
3. Assign duties to workers, and schedule shifts.
4. Coordinate front-office activities of hotels or motels, and resolve problems.
5. Participate in financial activities, such as the setting of room rates, the establishment of budgets, and the allocation of funds to departments.
6. Confer and cooperate with other managers to ensure coordination of hotel activities.
7. Manage and maintain temporary or permanent lodging facilities.
8. Observe and monitor staff performance to ensure efficient operations and adherence to facility's policies and procedures.
