Animal Hydrotherapist

Animal hydrotherapists provide a therapeutic treatment following veterinary diagnosis or referral. They concentrate on use of water-resistance to treat conditions, assist post-operative recovery, give pre-operative exercises and enhance general fitness in accordance with national legislation.

Core workflow

  4. Counsel clients about the deaths of their pets or about euthanasia decisions for their pets.
  5. Examine animals to detect and determine the nature of diseases or injuries.
  6. Treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, setting bones, dressing wounds, or performing surgery.
  7. Inoculate animals against various diseases, such as rabies or distemper.
  8. Collect body tissue, feces, blood, urine, or other body fluids for examination and analysis.
